weatherby vs ruger
 
ok what do you guys think is the beter rifle a weatherby vanguard or a ruger m77 marks II? I think its the ruger got one in 7mm and its been good to me also drives tacks with a redfiled scope.

My experience with Ruger rifles has been negative, I've read they can be hit or miss.

Ive not heard anything good about Rugers accuracy.

I've got both and find very good groups out of both brands,depends on bullets and loads.a person that doesn't reload may come up with a different oppinion.

I prefer the Ruger Mark II action with its 2 stage safety and integral scope bases. Nothing wrong with the Weatherby but I would buy the Ruger, which I have done twice.
