Pocket size pistola

RE: Pocket size pistola
The Kel Tec P-40 is a problem child. Way too much slide velocity for the pistol design. Need a heavier slide, among other things. I'm not surprised to hear they don't make them any more. Too much of a good thing.

Old fashioned here... for a pocket piece I still like the S&W .38 with the hammer shroud. It is fairly snag proof and whether or not the perp is hopped up, a round or two will point him towards his maker.

Hate to bring a topic back up that already has a couple pages full of replies, but i want to reccomend the kel-tec .32's and .380's. The pocket pistols are the official backup gun of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. You can't get much more of an endorsement than that.

Well I'm almost ready to purchase. Looks like the Kel-tek .380 will be my choice...but 1 more ?; does anyone have any experience with N.A. arms?http://www.naaminis.com/index02.html
A bit more pricey than the kel-tek, anyone know why?

KelTek really are the smallest out there that are reliable.
After that, I'd go Kahr.
I'd like to say Glock since I like the full size ones, and a baby Glock as backup would be nice, but even the baby Glocks are just too fat for pants pocket carry. In a coat it's a different story. Baby Glock, and a full size backup mag.

Taurus puts out a .32H&R mag 5shot revolver, runs about $350 new.
Kel-Tec puts out the P-3AT, the worlds smallest .380 pistol. One hell of a back up weapon. I've had mine since the first prodcution run, never a hiccup.
I've also got VERY CHEAP Jennings J-22 and J-25 pistols, never a problem, but not hard telling they're low grade guns. About $100 new.
Cobra enterprises (formerly Davis) puts out two bbl derringers, as do Bond arms.
S&W last I knew put out quite a few tiny DA revolvers.
Personally, I enjoy my P-3AT more than any of the others.

Who are you trying to kid? Even with a 4" barrel and plus P loads, the .38 special is nothing much, never was, and never will be, either.

This may be a little outside of the box ...but how about a Bulgarian 9x18 Makarov for around $130...
They are absolutely bomb-proof!
I carry one every day as a pocket pistol.
