how do you all fish for burbot? im going to be on teh alke at 5:30 in the moroning and fishin in preaty shallow because we dotn want to drive out. we will porbaly be fishing from about 5 to 8 feet of water. what type of jig head do you all use? colors?

Best fishing usually in the dark. Minnows or jigging glow in the dark spoons (little cleos, crippled hearings ect.) charged with a camera flash. Fishing the shallow water is OK if it is close to deeper water. Pre-baiting with salted minnows will help draw them into the area and hold them there.
