Any tournament nonboaters here?
 

I was wondering how to get started in tournments. Im going to start getting ready and maybe try to do a couple locals by end of the year or start next year.

Is there a pecking order when it comes to tournaments. I mean can I just sign up for it or is there a list or what?

Next month a tournament trail is coming to Clarks Hill here in GA. I may go and hang out and watch what goes on.

mike i would check into the bfl tournaments, great place to get started

Join your local bassmasters club. They have smaller club tournaments with the same format as the ones you see on tv. Do well in a few of those, and you can qualify to fish the larger state tournaments.
