Ill try no expert-I like Berkly plastics seem to all work. Wacky worm has many different uses. In spring for spawn, and sometimes drop shotting.Use goggle search and you will have many different articals to read. (Wacky worm rig)

Hope this helps

bassmaster.com has some great articles as far as bass fishing. As far as wacky rigging, i really haven't had much luck with it. I tried it a couple of times, but i was having too much success on other baits. a couple of my friends have tried and they've caught a few fish. I guess all the times that they say to use them i just throw a tube. I use tubes alot now, they're really multipurpose. I usually take 5" YUM Dingers or 5" Gary Yammamoto Senkos and just rig them straight Texas style, no weight. i keep the hook slighly exposed because i like using spinner gear for this technique. i caught alot of fish on this set up this year. smallmouth just love that erratic swimming around and sinking. i even got a muskie to slash at one. im hoping to try out some wacky rigging this year.

Go to the plumbing section at lowes, and get some small #6 plastic O rings, (they are really small gaskets). Put this around the center of a 4" senko, and put the hook under the O ring, but not into the plastic. That way, you can catch more than 1 fish per senko.

RE: wacky baits

Big bass the term wacky rigging referres to fishing with a bait like a senko with the hook in the middle of the bait rather than in the end. Fish it weightless and rig it like Joshkeller said to eleiminate having to put a new one on every fish or two. The senkos are expensive and you will go through a ton of them if you don't use an o ring. Smallys love this type of presentation because it kind of floats down gradually and looks more realistic to the bass.

does it matter what hook you use for that and how do you fish it do you twich it and can you get that o ring at walmart or farm and fleet or menards. thanks for all the help.:)

Hook style really isn't that important because you aren't burying it like texas rigging. I would suggest to take the bait you are going to use like a senko to any hardware store and ask the salesman about plumbing o rings that will fit the particular size.
