Walleye Trip.

My wife and I are headed to Devils Lake ND to do some Walleye fishing. My friend is a quide up there and has an open day. Walleys fishing has been pretty good when weather conditions allow fishing anywhere on the lake. The Lake has grown from 53000 acres a few years back to 138000 acres now. Will report on the trip. Heading out about 7 in the morning 9-7 04.:D

Good Luck!!!

If the walleyes aren't biting you have plenty of other options on DL like Jumbo Perch or trophy Northerns!

RE: Walleye Trip.

The fishing was pretty good. There was three of us and we limited on Wallekes. The size was a litttle less than I was expecting. We caught mostly eating size walleye. We got a couple in te 27 inch range. We caught several Northerns in the 7 to 10 lbs. No Perch on this day. We got a few White Bass in the three lb range. It was a DEAD CALM day which we don't see to many of up there. I am hoping for a return bout before the season winds down. Of course then there is ice fishing.:D
