Steelhead are found in coastal areas from California to Alaska. They spend part of their lives in rivers and part of their lives in the Pacific Ocean. None here in Alabama.

I fish them in the spring on lake michigan tributaries and in the summer on lake mich. i get most of mine on spawn bags or wigglers in the spring and catch them on spoons trolling lake michigan in the summer.

Will do, double lung. We got a ton of cold rain the last couple days and its been cold during the days too. The creeks are still to mudy to tell if we got the first run of the year yet, but Im sure a decent amount will come in. Not enough to drive along ways for though. Let me know the days you plan to come up, maybe we can fish together.
