biggest sunfish ever
 

at my grandparents cabbin i almost cought the biggest sunny i have ever seen
by the feel of it it was a good pound or more
but the line snaped about six inches from the boat

I caught a large long eared sun fish(in the south , we call them redbreast) in the Suwannee River on mothers day a few years back.

he weighted 1 lb. 11.2oz. a world record on 4# test line.I'm in thr record book with that one.

sorry you missed yours.keep trying,you'll get him yet.it took me 2 years to get mine.I checked the books and set my gold.it came true.
