Try dragging some crawlers on the bottom or some pieces of cut bait. Good luck!

I have fished several creeks like that for cats. I would use worms or liver to catch them. You will probaly ccatch other things too. Also go to the biggests holes in the stream

Fish log jams in creek bends, deep holes, gravel bars, and down stream of rappids. Cut bait is good as well as worms. In the summer dip bait is hard to beat in creeks.

I have caught more cats in small streams on shiners under a bobber than any other way, just put a small split shot near the shiner to keep him down and adjust the bobber to allow the shiner to stay about 6-12 inches off the bottom.

In any kind of flowing stream, whether it be a big river, small river, or a little creek, always remember the concept of riffles, holes, and runs. This system is extremely easy to figure out on small streams because everything is really confined. Just look for the deepest holes. Some times i have good luck in small streams if I can find a big tree with all of its roots hanging down in the water, catfish seem to like that. Fish for the active cats at the head of the holes and in the riffle area. I've caught a lot of cats on cut bait, stink bait( junnies sewer bait), dew worms, and green worms in the small streams. Good luck
