i've seen the banjo minnnow in action and can say its a gimmic. i can outfish a banjo with a thunderstick or suspending husky jerk. my friend uses them alot, he's caught a few nice bass on them. i dont think you can really count any pike he's caught on them because the pike we were catching generally will hit anything. he did lose a 5-7 lb smallie on the banjo because of that darned hook system. you can get the same action by wacky rigging a senko or a power jerk shad from berkley. bionic minnow, haven seen that one yet. BTW, teh banjo is new and improved on TV...my friend is ordering it..tried to tell him....

gotta disagree with Deerslayer. no gimic on the Banjo Minnow. Does it work all the time....Does anything, NO! I really feel it's a great bait, and would reccomend them.

i bought the boionic minnow never had much patience with them i would stick to store bought baits not tv gimics imo i got ripped off but hey mabey yould have better luck with them[8D]
