Need advice on float tube purchase.

I'm going to buy a float tube soon and want to know which is best. Open end with pontoons or doughnut/square shape. I'll be mostly pond and small stream fishing.

Thanks for any input!

I have the inner tube style tube, the opened enders werent out that I saw when I purchased mine. Sure would like to try them but my round tube has worked for me mainly on the city lakes in Mn for walleyes!
