largemouths starting to hit on the Miss

My friend and i took the boat out yesterday just to see if the bass were biting, we caught 13, biggest was 3 1/2 lbs...i caught 7 fish, biggest was 3, then a 2 1/2, two 2s's, a bunch of 1's and 1.5's. My friend was using a storm Mag Wart crankbait and i was throwing KVD tubes in watermelon and YUM 4" tubes in junebug, slow dragging them on the bottom.

Tuesday out on the Miss it was 51 degrees, in the marina where we caught most of our fish it was 55 deg, im thinking theres some kinda warmwater spring or a cold water one that is just warmer than the water around it. Friday the water temp was around 57 deg in some spots, 59 in the sloughs with muck bottoms. friday we caught 2, had 5 get off, and had 7 or 8 short strikes between 3 of us.

I was out in the Dubuque pool last night for a local tournament, and there were only three fish caught of measurable length. Where abouts are you guys fishing on the Miss?

we were onteh Lynxville pool, i dont know the number. fishing at a marina on a gravel shorline that the wind was blowing into and the water was 4 degrees higher there. the other spot was near a trestle bridge, and the other was warm water(it goes cold in summer) discharge at the sewage plant.
