Question about Bowfishing

when you shoot at a fish in the water, does the arrow go thru the fish or does it get stuck?

RE: Question about Bowfishing

Depends. What kind of rough fish is it, your bow poundage, fish depth, distance, and arrow weight. Probably 9 times out of 10 the arrow will go through the fish but all these factors contribute to the arrow gogn through or not.

RE: Question about Bowfishing

I shoot a 45# recurve for bowfishing and the arrow goes through the smaller fish almost all of the time but large carp and dogfish the arrow usually sticks in the fish.
