Default Custom Fishing Rods???

I was wondering how many people have an interest in buying custom IM7 graphite fishing rods and how much they would pay for them. What do you think about the ones with the fancy wraps?

I got a few different rods some medium and light weight rods but I usually start off with a medium rod because its the best. Then afterwards when I got everything down pat I go to some other custom rod because I learned more and more each year.

I would consider spending up to $20 on custom fishing rods, I hear they break when fighting only a bluegill!!! J/k

To anybody interested in custom rods, I have seen Gundigest's rods and they are really nice and well made.

What blanks do you make them on? What guides do you use? What kind of reel seats? These all determine the value of the rod. As for starters, what would you personally charge for a 6'6" medium fast tapered graphite baitcasting rod for spinnerbaits? (10 - 17 or 10 - 20 lbs line)?

GD, I too make custom rods. It is difficult to "sell" them to the average fisherman when Wally World has them for $10.. I stick to making them for myself, family and freinds. Good luck.

Mostly mudhole and netcraft...I also have a local place here where I get my personal blanks from. I like to "feel" them out first.
