what are some good trout baits and i wanna ask something esle too
Hey
im new here i just found the site so..i'll just say hi and im from Indiana,USA and i wanna know what is the best trout fishing baits to use? b/c poeple sayin there is trout in this river so..im goin to try it out b/c i never trout fish before i been fishing for bass and other kind of fish but not trout yet im goin to do some this year and where are the best places to find trout and how deep of water it got to be?

The type of bait can vary, but live night crawlers are usually a good bet. Other baits that are good, especially for stocked trout include salmon eggs and commercial power baits. Trout are usually found in colder water than bass and sunfish.

Hard to beat a night crawler or leaf worm especially if you are just getting started. Most importantly, when trout fishing use only enough weight to get the bait down where the fish are and cast softly(flipping works best in small rivers) ahead of the targeted area.
