First add a bullet weight to the line, then a bead, then tie on a swivel.
Then tie on your leader and hook to the swivel. That is it.
I use Kinomi worms, tubes, culprit worms, jigs, and etc on a carolina rig. Matter of fact I caught a few last night on a carolina rig.:D

Lindy came out with a sinker about 4 or 5 years ago that I use religiously. As farm country says, slip this on your line, tie on a swivel, length of ledder you want to use then your hook. This Lindy rig works great in any under water environment rocks, heavy timber, grass or a combination of all. Just a little twitch will remove it from obstructions. It's called the Lindy Rattlin No Snag. You can check them out at BassPro .com. I use the Lake Fork Ring Fry and Baby Ring Fry as my favorite bait. Good luck
