Walking along this stream is deafening. Thousands of Cicadas are in trees along the stream, and the trout are eating any Cicadas or other bugs falling into the water.🤙👍

We adopted my wife's.... Very distant cousin.... Two summers ago.

One night shortly after we got him we were outside grilling allowing him to meet our family. The crickets and frogs and other critters were making quite the uproar.

He confusedly asked what all that was.

Guess in the city they don't get to hear that stuff.

Those cicada can sure be loud! yep lol- nice fish &pics

Theres a small pond close by- i keep a ear out for the waking frogs noises ( not for awhile)= A sure sign SPRING,s commin up -(jun -summer - sept) the meadow larks will then sing!!!- (the olive oil will then change from a sold to a liquid again in our kitchen)

Only howling winds & ground blizzards etc for now to hear ( Still beats the city noises lol imo - But some ppl here say - the winds drive some ppl crazy here-And they could be right
( growing up as a kid in a city much of it- i would have gladly ( a lot)-payed someone to live in the country:) lol

The pie chart about right( first/ last snowfall/frost? etc )...

Yes, get out there and enjoy your spring/summer season. I've been making the most of the trout season and I've got a lot more stream to stalk , our winter season starts in June.👍
