Default How's this for "old school" rod & reel combo?

Someone a while back posted up about old, vintage, baitcasters.... This was my wife's grandfather's old 1954 South Bend Oreno baitcaster fishing rod, from the suburbs of Buffalo, NY. A number of years ago, I researched it, followed along with a YouTube video, and very carefully, step by step, took it all apart, cleaned it, lubed it, and eventually restored it. It still works great! In fact, this morning (before it started raining), I decided to take it out to the local public park & small fishing pond, and tossed a few casts off the fishing pier with heavy weedless spinnerbait. So cool, to keep "Grandpa Nowak's" old fishing rod in great condition all these decades later!

Oh man, this brings back memories. Looks really close(except for the handle color) to what my granddad had. Sadly it was lost when we were moving states back in early 00s.
