Trout Fishing in Central Pennsylvania
With PA trout season only a few months away, its time to start planning.
A campground located in Central PA is ready to serve you. We have cabins, camper/RV sites and tent sites. We are located within close proximity of some of the best waters of Central PA. TRUE, and that is almost the case here but because some waters are stocked you can't fish them before the season opener. Stocked waters even though they hold native fish can't be fished from March 1st till opening day. We do have year round fishing but much water is regulated as far as what and when you can keep fish. I typically don't keep any trout unless my wife and I have a real hankering for fish, do enjoy them smoked.
Stocked waters seem to keep the kids more interested because they see a lot of fish being caught.

We don't have a 'trout season' in Manitoba but when the general season closes for walleye, pike, etc, seems that's when people move onto stocked trout since their season never closes
