Hey Chuck here when they catch cod fish ( salt water ) which are very wormy they use salt on them. They also salt farm raised salmon over night in the fridge. That’s to get rid of any worms they may have. Then rinse them off and then rub brown sugar on them mixed with a cup of water. Marinate it over night . Then they will smoke them the next day. It maybe something you might want to try on your bass? Just an idea that is all.
