Yep. I've fished it. My uncle has a cabin along the shore of it outside New Evarts. There is some really good walleye fishing there.

Lots of good info on Walleye Central, the most popular lake on the Missouri river system. Get's busy...real busy.

could care less about walleye - smallmouth is what I'm after !

I like smallies too. I live on one of the best spots in the USA for them. Good days can be 100+ fish.

I am sure there is good fishing there for them, best part is most are after 'eyes...I am spoiled, I live near one of the premier smallmouth locations anywhere, and there is only a handful that actually target them....if you would like to see some pics of smallmouth caught on Ft. Peck, go to Montana Warriors On The Water face book page, there are some there, one of the gentleman helping take warriors out is actually state record holder for smallie here in Montana, 7.51 pounds, pretty good chance of catching a lot of 3-5lbs fish

as I look more and more into Oahe .... walleye, big pike, smallmouth, big crappie and catfish .... sounds like an everything lake

maybe I'll luck into a farmer that'll give me permission to archery mule deer !!
