Default Troutin' in TX

Stocked rainbows are still hitting in TX. I'd rather catch brookies in a stream in my native CO but I'm not there and these are available right down the road from me.

Smallest a little under 10 inches, biggest just a whisker over 13 inches. They'll have to do until I get to the Rockies in the summer.

Some good eating there! What did you catch them on?

Opening day of trout in SE Penna is tomorrow. We are getting up to 4 inches of rain today. Should be some fun times.

We have native brookie streams by our cabin upstate. They are definitely more fun to pursue. They are finicky and very spooky.
