Meh, I buy what I want. I pay cash for a new boat each winter. I sell the previous years boat and get 80 - 90, sometimes even 110% of the new boat cost with my used boats. I buy bare, non finished boats and customize them the way I want. gives me something to do in the dead of winter.

Its basic economics.

Supply and demand.....They will charge whatever they think people will pay. They are selling boats at the prices they are getting becasue people are paying them.

My employer raises his prices between 3% and 5% per year. He is consistently less than our next biggest competitor, and we are constantly turning away freight, we simply don't have the carriage capacity to handle it all.

But he also has customers who will shop rates, every time he raises them. To see if he is the most economical for their needs. If he's not, they move to another carrier.

If you can't find the boat that you want at the price you're willing to pay, find another dealer\seller.
