Default For mrl0004 or anyone else that wants to view these..

mrl0004 I decided to post a few pics of a small stream I was fishing on yesterday.. I hope you like them. There is no way to get a canoe or float tube down this one.. Enjoy!

This first pic is by an old beaver dam just up from where it runs into a lake..

Looking up stream..

This small stream becomes a jungle in a lot of places.. ( next few pics )

The fast water normally means some trout are around..

A few chubs just to show you how clear the water is..

Just another pic showing clear water..

A small pool which should have a trout in it..

I caught this little trout which was released back into the water..

More fast water..

Alright! A beaver dam ahead! This should help me catch a trout.. This
dam is around 4 1/2 feet high.

Awe heck! There goes my plans on catching any fish today.. This
beaver shows up and wouldn't leave.. lol

This beaver starts slapping the water with his tail and then shows me how big he is..LOL

Then he turns and starts coming straight at me.. That made me nervous when
he dove under and kept on coming towards me. LOL Now these things can chomp
trees down with their teeth and I sure did not want him chomping on my leg..

I ended up catching 3 decent brook trout and decided to head back out of there.
On the way out I stopped and took a picture on an endangered flower up here.
While I am not sure they say they are endangered as I see quite a few of them..
Here it is a Lady Slipper..

I hope you enjoy the pics..

I am posting another stream for you mrl0004. While I am not sure if you have seen these pics or not I will PM you so you can get a look at them.. This stream will show some pics that few people up here will ever see or even know exists.. There is some sections of waterfalls that each section together drop this stream 20 to 30 feet down.. This is not a mountainous area and the waterfalls are small compared to many parts of the country.
Heading down stream..

I have updated another stream for you to view I hope you like the pics.. The camera does very little justice for the photos I have posted. These pics show just an example of what I have encounted on this outing.. In that last pic a native brook trout around 12 inches is being shown. The water in that pool is around 10 feet deep..

Awesome photos. I have a few streams like that in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You are right, the pictures are nice but there is nothing better than being wrapped up in the environment. Unless the mosquitos are out!!!

Thanks for the photos!

Thanks Chuck, I am not trying to leave anyone out Chuck. I was asked quite some time ago to post some pics of a few trout streams by mrl0004. So I did this time around and hopes he gets to enjoy them..

Phil,
I rarely get on this site anymore. I apologize for missing this. The photos are much appreciated. I love seeing the small streams that others fish. I am a small stream junkie. Looks like you have yourself quite a brookie stream!

Thanks mrl0004,

I was hoping you would like them. The last stream gets quite a bit bigger as other streams flow into it. I never made it down that far the day I was in there. I just took my time and enjoyed every bit of it..

I am not on here as often anymore either.
