2013 Fish Picture Gallery

Hey guys...simply use this thread to post your best fish of 2013
This will be in place of the yearly tournament we normally have. Any species is fine.

Tight lines,
Chuck

his is a special fish..was caught on a light action Lightning Rod..8 pound test. The fish was 6 1/2 pounds...lure Tennessee Shad Bill Norman.

The next fish is an 8 pounder caught while pitching a black trick worm...using 10 pound Trilene and a Fenwick Triggerstick..which was lost June 15th }-;

Thanks for this Chuck! I haven't been on the forums much. Here is a little photo update of what I have been up to lately.

I know it isn't a fish, but it was a picture perfect hunt with a very good friend of mine. A xbow and shotgun double at 8 yards!

Some early season bronzebacks

And a good largemouth caught crankin'

I am heading on a smallmouth fishing trip this weekend and should have some more photographs to share!

17.5 to 18 inch bass. I couldn't get a good measurement since it was flopping around a lot...but it was a fun catch nonetheless

Chuck7 06-26-2013 01:42 PM

Nice fat fish..thanks for sharing..probably between 2 1/2 and 3 pounds

Chuck7 06-26-2013 01:48 PM

Here's one from Matt...forgot what it weighed...somewhere between 4 - 5 pounds I'm sure...He hasn't got anything bigger than 5 1/2 this year...But he only fished about 3 times a month.

OK I recall this picture..the lucky bugger snagged that fish on a crankbait..It was a little over five pounds..

Here is a little preview of a trip I took to northern Michigan chasing Smallmouth Bass on Lake Michigan. Sadly, the weather was very poor with high offshore winds and a lot of rain. Made the best of it and tied into a few fish.

Nice fish...man we went to another man made pond, it had lots of trout but we weren't set up for trout...came home got dinner and went back and 2 people had hogged up the area...so we left and went to the other man made pond where I caught that bass yesterday...and it was closed for an "event" :mad1: I guess they were going to shoot fireworks off around there or something:alien:

Hey Buck..Are you left handed or right handed..Probably right handed..For the life of me I could never learn to reel in those open faced with my left hand..I have to cast right handed and then in a micro second I have the handle in my right hand...

I know you asked buck...but I cast right handed but I hold the rod in my left hand...it messes me up if the reel handle is the side his is on...lol strange I know...

I am predominately left handed, although growing up everything was naturally right handed for me because my entire family is right handed. Due to this, I have become very ambidextrous. I don't have a problem with any reels, except for left hand retrieve baitcasters... Those I struggle with!!!

Psylocide 06-28-2013 05:41 AM

Don't even get me started on left/right for fishing reels.

I'm right-handed, but I MUST reel with my right hand. Don't ask me why, but I look/feel like a derp-dee-der when I'm reeling with my left hand.

Chuck7 06-29-2013 12:02 AM

Same here..i'm right handed and mynhandle on the open face is on the right...was just wondering....

Stickman12 07-24-2013 07:48 AM

I caught this bass last night while trolling with a jitterbug.

Woodsman88 07-24-2013 08:46 AM
