Lures

Hey guys I have been looking to update some of my fishing equipment lately. I got a new fishing pole earlier today. I was wondering what lures you guys like to use for bass, northern, ect.

I use a black trick worm rigged Texas style..probably got about 200 hits this year..boated five 5 s. two 6 1/2 and one eight pounder....

I got 7 hits tonight..that is pretty much the only lure i use...and an occational DD Bill Norman crankbait..

invest in some tubes, right now they should be good for bass up your way, smallies and largemouths, can't help you much on the other species...

For northerns, I use large Rapalas and Williams whitefish, also Storm and Swim Whiz. My plugs and spoons are BIG, as I am dealing with pike in the 20 to 30+ pound range. An 8 to 15 pound walleye will also grab these offerings as will the lake trout. Some of the jointed ones are for bluefin tuna. Pike will eat something a third of their body weight. An 8 pound bass or 10 pound walleye is lunch. Small spoons and plugs = small fish. With pike and musky, bigger is better.
