Spawn is over in my neck of the woods..
 

Matt and I went out yester evening..2 days before full moon..We got 2 dinks on the shore and SNAGGED 4 bass on crankbaits..biggest was 2 3/4 pounds..

Therefore ..it's back to the quick morning bite with worms, cranks or top water..The spawn lasted 3 months..from Feb.-Apr. it was fun while it lasted..now it's back to fishing the tough way...;)

Most of the stomachs on the bass were sunkin in. I plan to give it one more try this evening..

The spawn here lasts from the middle of May until the middle of June normally.. No where near the time that you have.. I have not even begun to try much fishing.. I have caught some Brook Trout, a couple of Landlock Salmon, A big smallmouth while catching some White Perch one night.

Mostly I have been out hunting turkeys and that ended for me this morning when I tagged my second bird for the year.. Just a small jake this time as our season ends next week and I do not have a lot of time to continue hunting them.

CONGRATS ON THE TURKEY..I'd rather kill a jake than two 12 pound bass....
