The one I have on the other site has different markings that that one has.. But, it still may be a Kestral rather than a Coopers Hawk. I see at least one of them every time I am out turkey hunting up here.. They are surely fast little flyers and quick when dropping down at it's prey.
After re-reading it on the other site I will throw in the towel.. My guess is the same as yours as it being a Kestral

NO need for a towel..I'm your friend{-; and for me..A Kestral is a better photo...tough bird to get to come down that low.We have them nesting in the tall lights around baseball stadiums.

I see- me im not a birder but I see birds- and I take pictures of birds & read about birds(mostly local birds) etc
Here a few buzzards eating a antalope( don't know where the red tail etc picts at) - I have a lot more( many many) picts of live antalopes if you need to see any
There was a large lop leg in the road the other day outback( very fresh- don't think a buzzard droped it

I just like calling them buzzards lol- wouldn't want to up set the turkeys to- therse been a lot of turkeys around here lately.
That cara cara looks interesting
( I have to downsize things/picts I post here- I posted some turkey picts in the off season not to long ago.... dsnt know if ya seen them- they where being followed by a peacock/male( not a local) but a pet dr left behind when they moved

Mr.Fish ..what kind of bird is the yellow breasted one? we don't have that one around here.
