Looks a little bigger than 5.1 to me...I read a review a few months ago...and the popular vote using data was that the spring scale was more accurate..your fish looks like 5 1/2 to me..thick fish....anyways thanks for texting me when you get a good one..I appreciate you keeping up with BUT don't ever come around again unless you let me buy you dinner..(-;

Here's one I got Sat..just over 5 pounds..deep water..

and this 5 1/2 two weeks ago..she was 23 inches but very skinny

haha, it might be larger than 5.1 but it doesnt really matter to me since Im not tourny fishing. I've been told several times that some of my fish in the past have looked larger than what I weighed them at, but I enjoy a big fish whether its 10 lbs or 5 lbs . Granted, I might enjoy a 10 lb'r a tad bit more than a 5 hehehe, but I enjoy the smaller ones too.

This fish actually felt like a 3-3.5 lbr at first but once I got her to the boat she decided she might be better off in the water and proceeded to put up a really good fight from then on. It took me some time to get her in the boat because she kept on fighting and wouldnt give up. I had a friend and my son in the boat with me and my friend actually has part of it on video. I'll see if I can get it put on youtube and post it here later.

hahahaha, a snagged fish sure puts up a good fight generaly. Sure is a good looking fish. I have a video, but its really bad and only shows the fish after I get it in the boat. I thought he captured the whole thing but I guess not, so no video of the catch. Im going to go out again this sunday to try and catch a few if weather permits, so maybe I'll break past the 5's and get into something a little bigger but who knows, we'll see.
