Hello Zack

It doesn't look like good fishing weather today.when you pick up the rod there is a small price..plan to come inside my home and play me a game of chess..I'll fix you a sandwich and cold beverage as well.

If you can"t find my house..please call I will be home all day..

Thanks,
Chuck

flhunter91 06-26-2012 05:50 AM

Hey Chuck,

That sounds like a fair price to me. I'll head your way early this afternoon if that'll work for you. It's been awhile since I've played chess so I'll be a bit rusty haha. See ya later.

Chuck7 06-26-2012 07:07 AM

Sounds good...glad your rusty.lol..I don't like losing(-:

flhunter91 06-26-2012 07:34 AM

Hey Chuck, I sent you a text a bit ago. My mom needs me here since we got a new air conditioner unit so theres a lot of clean up. I can come by tomorrow if thats alright. I'm looking forward to the chess game. You definitely got a chance to beat me every time haha.

Chuck7 06-26-2012 11:34 AM

Worked out perfectly..as always..had unexpected company..however,the rod will stay on the porch..you may pick up at any time

Chuck7 06-26-2012 11:20 PM

Another great day for a chess game or..two..or three
:happy0001::happy0001::happy0001::o

The wind is presently howling as new bands are going over, raining cats and dogs..good day to chill.

Chuck7 06-27-2012 12:14 PM

Good seeing ya today Zack. I had fun playing chess...will have to do again..soon

flhunter91 06-27-2012 03:10 PM

I had a great time as well... Looking forward to it again.

Chuck7 06-27-2012 03:15 PM

I'm going out tomorrow,..the bite will be slow I'm sure..but one never knows..6:10 on the water with a cup of jo

flhunter91 06-27-2012 03:42 PM

I might head out there in the morning as well. But I have to leave by around 8:30 if I do go out there and fish.

Chuck7 06-27-2012 03:52 PM

Your welcome to come with me...I plan to pitch or drift exclusively...probably start where you lost the big one ..and work back to the trucks,,,if so let's be in the water at 6:00 sharp..that gives us plenty of time...bringing 2 worm rods and a frog rod.

IF the bite is on, I'll simply drop you off and keep fishing. The moon is off and the pressure may have stunned them but the weather will be like spring.

flhunter91 06-27-2012 04:07 PM

I'll definitely come with you in the morning if you don't mind dropping me off if the fishing is good. I would just have to be at the truck around 8:30. Just let me know and I can be there whatever time in the morning.

Chuck7 06-27-2012 04:18 PM

I plan on having the boat in the water at 6....if you have mosquito repellant ,bring it...you'll be in the back of the boat...so it could hurt you a little..I just want to experiment and see what the fish are doing..

95 per cent of fishing will be pitching..covering as much shoreline as possible.

flhunter91 06-27-2012 04:27 PM

The sounds good to me. I'll be there in the morning ready to go. I appreciate it.

Chuck7 06-28-2012 09:35 AM

Right after you left the bite turned on..I boated 3..all of them were over 2 pounds. Here's a 3 pounder..

Gangly 06-28-2012 09:46 AM

nice fish Chuck

Chuck7 06-28-2012 10:04 AM

Thanks Aaron...could"t find fish on the radar, pitching failed, top water failed..casting the shoreline failed...where are the fish after a ton of rain..(-: ....try flipping in thick stuff..and there they are .

flhunter91 06-28-2012 10:34 AM

So they were back in the thick stuff then? Were you using the jig still? I hate that I had to leave haha. Good job though Chuck

Chuck7 06-28-2012 11:14 AM

No sir..worm ..lost 2 good ones.

flhunter91 06-28-2012 11:24 AM

I guess warmer waters meant better fishing haha. Good job.

Chuck7 06-28-2012 11:25 AM

This one was 2 even..nice hook set..pulled all 3 out of the salad..

And a 2 1/4 pounder.

flhunter91 06-28-2012 12:05 PM

That's a good turn around from the morning haha. Were they more in the trees or the reeds? Did you notice what the water temp. ended up going up to by the time they started hitting?

Chuck7 06-28-2012 12:15 PM

Lot's more boats...

Temperature (water) 80degrees

Fish were caught everywhere .li fished till just about 1;00

I covered a lot of water...
Cya. At 6:00 Sat. For the tournament..I'm ready (-:

flhunter91 06-28-2012 12:48 PM

Well I'll be out there fighting the boats Saturday haha. I hope I'll be a little more prepared this time.

Chuck7 06-28-2012 12:55 PM

I just talked with Matt.he will be there..he still wants to play ya in racket ball..he's got an extra racket

Phil from Maine 06-28-2012 05:51 PM

How to go Chuck! I did not think they would be biting just yet after that big storm and such a pressure change.. Congrats!

Chuck7 06-28-2012 09:33 PM

Here"s what happened Phil lol ..I was humbled....

Zack and I started fishing at 6 on the dot..we fished for 2 1/2 hours..I saw about 5 other boats .I presumed they were being skunked like we were. Zack had to leave at 8:30 but if the fish were biting I was going to stay. On the way back to the trucks I meant another fisherman that Zack and I had recently befriended. I ask how they did this morning..expecting a skunk..Here is what he said..in his southern draw.

My boy here got 4 on a frog and I got 6 on a red shad worm..nothing over 2 pounds though...)-: my fishing pride was hurt..Zack and I never even got a bite. That's it ! I decided to drop off Zack and stay.....I refused to get skunked...

I decided to flip the thick stuff on the shoreline. ...it was hard work but it got the job done...Plus prepared me for this week's mini tournament.(-:

All that fishing paid off in another way..it's only been 15 days since I've been dieting and have lost 16 pounds..yesterday I burned 2 . Flipping is hard work..

flhunter91 06-29-2012 05:14 PM

Well I went out for 2 hours this evening and did not get a single bite... tried to fish the thick stuff and pitched alot of shoreline and covered alot of water. I hope tomorrow turns out better.

Chuck7 06-30-2012 08:05 AM

It did
