That's a good turn around from the morning haha. Were they more in the trees or the reeds? Did you notice what the water temp. ended up going up to by the time they started hitting?

How to go Chuck! I did not think they would be biting just yet after that big storm and such a pressure change.. Congrats!

Here"s what happened Phil lol ..I was humbled....

Zack and I started fishing at 6 on the dot..we fished for 2 1/2 hours..I saw about 5 other boats .I presumed they were being skunked like we were. Zack had to leave at 8:30 but if the fish were biting I was going to stay. On the way back to the trucks I meant another fisherman that Zack and I had recently befriended. I ask how they did this morning..expecting a skunk..Here is what he said..in his southern draw.

My boy here got 4 on a frog and I got 6 on a red shad worm..nothing over 2 pounds though...)-: my fishing pride was hurt..Zack and I never even got a bite. That's it ! I decided to drop off Zack and stay.....I refused to get skunked...

I decided to flip the thick stuff on the shoreline. ...it was hard work but it got the job done...Plus prepared me for this week's mini tournament.(-:

All that fishing paid off in another way..it's only been 15 days since I've been dieting and have lost 16 pounds..yesterday I burned 2 . Flipping is hard work..
