Default Summer Heat [pics]

Starting a new job so have not go to fish as much as I would like, but with the extremely warm air temperatures here I have gotten a very good frog bite, along with a moderate mid-range crankbait and flippin' bite. No summertime biggin's but some solid 3.5lb postspawn fish.

Also was fortunate to hit a few days with some crazy pier fishing in beautiful Lake Michigan.

One of the bigger andronamous Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) this summer.

Looks like you have made a great day of it!! How are you getting those stealheads up onto the peer? Is it low enough you can just reach down with a landing net?

Anyhow Congrats on your fishing success!!

Extendable 15' nets are a must.

Nice fish Bh! Been having alot of fun with the top water action hear on Hubbard as well. Some big pike and smallies on the white buzz bait at the south end, always a blast! My 13 yr old neice boated a smallie just a touch over 19 in. last weekend, was a big ol' fat pig!
