Question for St. Croix owners...
 

A. Which model do you own?

B. How are the guides..are they still on the rod?

C, Have you done any pitching or flipping with it?

does it set the hook well


D. Would you buy another..why or why not?

A.) 6' 6" Avid Baitcaster, 7' 0" Legend Spinning Rod, 9' 6" Float Rod

B.) Never have a problem with any of the St. Croix guides.

C.) Never with the baitcaster, as it is a medium light. The spinning rod is my go-to rod for flipping light jigs (1/4 and smaller), specially to smallmouth.

From my experience, each rod is accurate with its acquired power and lure rating.

D.) I would buy another if I could get it at a good price or used / new, but would rather custom build a rod for the desired purpose.

A) 7' Mojo Bass spinning rod.

B) Guides are still there and look great

C) I mainly used this as my inshore saltwater rod, so no bass fishing with it. As said before, If it'll catch redfish, bass are no problem.

D) Would buy another in a heart beat

Thanks fellow....leaning toward Advid MH 7 footer...as a flipping rod....but may get the Curado, Shimano reel...same price..decisions ..decisions..If they refund me.
