Default Can you see the differences in these 2 largemouth bass?

I remember the 25 pound bass caught in California. The coloring on my 7 pound bass looks like a Calif. strain..The fish was caught in a Tenoroc managing lake...

This next fish was caught at uh..a good spot ....a place that has been stocked with FL bass since the 1940s..note the difference in the bigness of the eyes and that dark line going down the side..All the fish I catch out of the Tenoroc pit look the same..less black in the line and huge eyes..just like the Cal. strain. The 8 pounder was caught at uh ih a good spot...and all the other bass caught there have the same smaller eyes in comparison and and much more prominant patchy black line..

Watch the video of world record freshwater species..when you get to the 25 pound largemouth..note the big eye and lack of dark patch on the side..{ -; the lake I caught the 7 pounder was from Tenoroc..a fish managing area.

what was the water depth and clarity in which both fish were caught? i wasnt aware of a "california" strain, everything ive seen is theres a northern strain, and a florida strain. the florida strain grows faster, is more effected by weather fluctuations, and is stocked in most southern/western states.

I always believed that the color of the bass was determined by water color and depth at which the bass lives mostly. I didn't know there were different strains either.
