Favorite Fish to Eat?
 
Hey here is a poll on what your favorite type of fish to eat. If you choose other say what you like.

We don't have walleye. In FL. But I tried it in Missouri...I love it..the only better freshwater fish I've eaten is trout..especially brook

yes walleye is very good so i trout but there is something about fresh bluegill that just hits the spot haha

As far as fish I catch...I agree...I like a species of the bluegill family very well...Shellcrackers/redearredsunfish

Other: Mahi Mahi and Tuna

As far as freshwater species go, Ill take a crappie or a large sunfish. Bass, depending on where you catch it, can be quite delicious as well.

I'm going to try some bass...down here they taste a little grassy. I know most fish soaked in buttermilk are good.I'll try that..Of course you have to cut the worms out first...But I don't plan to do this until after the spawn.

Also , where I fish at there is a slot limit.
You can only keep 3 under 15 inches and one may be over 24 inches.

yeah bass is ok i dont like it that much tho

I am a northerner and cold water fish has always been best to eat IMO.. With that Mountain Whitefish, brook trout, white perch, landlock salmon, and lake trout.. The very best IMO is clearly the whitefish. That is pretty much along side of brook trout..
