Can any body give me some imformation on when the smelt start running up the feeder streams of raystown lake

I am not trying to hone in on peoples hot spot but my wife did this in NY when she was a kid and I would really like to take her and we live in PA

Its difficult to get specifics on lakes, specially in the North. Not a ton of publicity in this forum and with a limited number os users, you get limited information.

Maybe look for a local forum that could lend more advice.

I am not sure about them down in Pa. Up this way lakes are different with some running the first week of April while others are running around the end of the second week of April. That is around the time they normally run which can very by a week or so. Also I am thinking with our warm weather we have had this year it might be a early run. Other than that it normally is within a week of ice out..
