Had a GREAT afternoon Fishing trip. I caught a 7 pounder, a 4 1/2, a 3, and several smaller fish! Tried a new tactic and it definitely paid off for me. Catching that big bass took awhile to get in but it had my heart racing haha. Here are some pictures of my 7 pounder.

Went out for a few hours this afternoon and got only one bite, but I boated it and it turned out to be a nice 6 1/2 pounder. So the trip wasn't completely wasted. This fish will put me up to 13 1/2 pounds... Getting closer to the top haha.

Today I got a 8 1/2 pounder to replace my 5 1/2. I'm surprised I am up to 15 1/2 pounds now when last year I had maybe two pounds for the tournament haha. Good afternoon fishing.

Fat fish..I remember catching a 2 pounder 14 inches when I was about 8 years old...I didn't catch a bigger bass until I was in my late 20s. When I moved to FL in 1981 I began to catch serious bass...

Fun tournament this year guys! Still pulling for someone to weigh-in a big one this evening. Wish I have been fishing more, but been scouting for our upcoming goose season. Really looking forward to my upcoming bass classic on September 15th with the circuit I fished this year. Could be some big weights on one of my big fish lakes off Lake Michigan!
