Summertime Vacation: 2011 [picture heavy]
Took a few days off from reality to spend in Northern Michigan. Weather was awful, many cold fronts moving through made fish moody. Rain was on and off for all 3 days about every half hour, but we made the best of what we had.
First fish of the trip, what a way to start. 5.34 lbs Downpour Northern Another Northern Back to Back Casts Downpouring Rain Another 20+ incher pig River inlet monster, 20+ inches 18 inch Smallmouth, 3.81 lbs 17 inch Smallmouth, 2.90 lbs Last fish of the trip, another 20+ inch Largemouth. |

|
Great Fish BH114, CONGRATS! Did something else try to take a bite out of that northern while you were reeling it in?

Wound was healing. I would love to see the fish that put the gash in him though! |

The Smallmouth came mainly on senkos with the occasional one on a spinnerbait. The topwater bite was nearly non existent with the fronts that were moving through, which was disappointing to me. |
Nice fish, looks like a realgood time& vacation.
( maybe the pike was hit by a prop?) |
