Default Rain Cancellation Means FISHING! [pictures]

Baseball tournament was cancalled today due to rain. When I heard the forecast, I was tempted to not do much. I couldn't get that other day out of my mind and the amount of large fish I hooked. That was enough to push me over the edge.

1st fish of the day, jig and pig Black/Red Booyah. 6.61 pounds.

Think that fish was FEEDING?

Water clarity was bad in the part of the lake, so I switched to the bright Bomber Fat "A"

Looks like an awesome day of fishing to me! Any bass over 6.5 lbs is a trophy in my book! Hope I get a day or two like that soon.

Definately. In Michigan, I hope for a few 5+ pounders a year. This year I am way ahead of schedule. I am very excited to see what the spawn brings, although it is over a half month out. I can see fish stocking up for the spawn and soon territory is going to be key.

Great catch; curious why your tournament was canceled over rain? Was it issues with lightning, because I fish in ANY WEATHER!

I am a coach for a Baseball team, and the threat for severe thunderstorms prompted the cancellation of the tournament.

So, as you stated, I fish in any weather, rain or shine.
