Default If money was no issue what is your favorite fishing vessel.

I'd like to have 2..a Bass Boat and a Jon..but if I could only have ONE..it would be a jon..

A. Can get to isolated spots where bass boats cant

B. More sturdier than the other choices.,,except for bass boat

C. More roomier than the other choices..
except for bass boat

D. I mostly fish alone anyways

E. Economical

F. and if suped up can fish most bass tournaments

BIGGEST REASON...cheaper to maintain...simple to fix..and handle

Here's my 10 Foot Jon

I would pick two as well. The kayak is unrivaled in stealth and going where no other boat can go. They are extremely cheap and can be easily and affordably outfitted for fishing (if it doesn't already come that way). Although there are models like the Hobie mirage that can be ~$2K, but the majority are in the $300-600 range. With that said, I voted bass boat, I mainly enjoy flats fishing (inshore) and a bass boat would be ideal for cruising the inshore waterways (rivers, bays, etc). However, the kayak will always be a part of my arsenal.

If I won a bass boat..I'd sell it..get a nice jon and save the rest of the money.

I'd go with a sturdy 12...add a live well..15 HP kicker....fish some tourneys and kick butt...me & Jesus { - ;

That's all you partner..I'd take a 12 foot jon over that one..

My son was on one similiar 2 Sat. ago...2 miles from the dock the starter went..out..They had no oar.It took a long time to get back with the trolling motor..Don't need the headaches..

I have no place to park it..LOL
