15.5 pound pike ice fishing today.
Went out today and managed 3 pike. I was using herring on a tip-up a foot off bottom in 15 feet of water. First one of the day was just a small one (not even legal size), the second one was 39" (15.5 pounds/my biggest so far), and the third one was an average 4-5 pound fish that measured 29".
^This fish took some good runs and I got it to the hole a couple times before I could get its head in straight. It was hooked good so I let it play out. |
Nice catch congrats MH sounds like a good day.

Congrats young fella! I haven't heard from you in while. Have you been fishing very much lately? We do not have any northerns in my area here. They do have some in the St. John river area that the state has been trying to get fished out.

Thanks for the comments.
