Got two on lunch
Caught 2 decent ones today on lunch
2.88
1.82
Both were on a PB&J Jig with a ZOOM chunk as a trailer
The 2.88 hit it pretty hard and fought good for about 2 seconds then rolled to the top. I barely had him hooked which you can see in the photograph. However, it took me forever to get the hook out, that thin little strip of flesh was like grissle or something....TOUGH!
I wasnt sure if I felt a bite or not with the 1.88 because I was dragging it through tree limbs when he nibbled it. I held tension on the line to see if the line did anything and I felt a very very very light movement so I set the hook and he was tagged.
Temperature right now is 66 degrees with bluebird skies.

I was wondering when you were gonna give in and get your boat wet, haha.
I was hoping it would be a little later so that I would have another chance to put a few more fish on the board, but oh well, the tournament is offically "ON" now
I will add the photos to the tourney post now.
Chuck, you better not pull in some 8 pounder Saturday, I'm gonna be really depressed if you do, haha .

Northstar Custom Baits "Premier Jig" in Peanut Butter & Jelly. The hook is an Owner hook with a unique bend that really keeps the bass buttoned up nicely. Hand tied with wire....quality jig if there ever was one.
