Respectable Fish [picture]
Well, this is one of my largest Bluegill to date. I catch some solid 9 inch fish but tough to break that 10 inch mark. The other day I iced this 10.25, gorgeous fish too.

Very tasty and a riot to catch.
How large were those Bluegills in the picture you posted? I see many 9+ inchers a year. About one 10+ incher a year. Never have yet to see a purebread 11incher. |
The ones in a different post..the 50 my son and I caught?
Smalles was 9 1/2 As far as the ones from the net on this thread..that was a copy and paste..I do have bigger ones saved but I didn't want to steal your thunder { -;..your my brother in the Lord. I don't have anything much bigger..nothing over 11 1/2 ..my son has one pic of a 12 inch red earred. I used to live up north..your gills are sweeter up there..and a 10 incher up there may be considered to mount..that's a big one for sure. |
No worry about stealing thunder... I am looking for a 6.5 pound largemouth, you are looking for a 10 pounder. I can take an inch and a half of heat on a Bluegill from two different sides of North America :)
