Great fish, never seen a gill (bream) on a boga before. Nice!

Those three 10 inchers look like they have been belly up gator bait for a while. big fish, not attractive, but taste like gold!

Thanks! I am not new to fishing (although most of my experience is inshore saltwater), but am an infant in the world of flyfishing. I practice a lot on bluegills in the ponds. Tried my luck on some rainbows today up here in northern Alabama. I think I did ok! Dreaming of the day I can go after some wild rainbows and especially browns!

You know, I will admit, growing up in south Alabama, you'd better not be caught dead with a fly rod. It was considered preppy, stuck-up fishing. However, the more cultured I became, I learned it really is an art. I have only been fishing with it for less than a year (total of 9 times). I picked it up quick though, but have a LONG way to go. Got a st. croix 9wt rod with an okuma 8/9 reel. That one can handle the bigger trout/bass or bluegill and small trout

Up here it is wild brook trout and landlock salmon mostly. I have caught my limit on white perch using a flyrod as well as several bass years past. One thing that may help you for casting if no one has already told you. Is to take a plastic bottle and hold it in your arm pit when casting. This way you will learn to use your wrist and fore arm better. This is what most of your casting should be done like.
