Fork Tomorrow
 

I head up to lake Fork later today to do some guided fishing tomorrow. Low of 68, high of 91 last time I checked, and the fish have started schooling on shad from what I have read. Looks to be a pretty good setup for tomorrow, hopefully it turns out well. I'll take pictures and post them tomorrow night if I'm not too tired from the drive back. Wish me luck guys!

I will wish the guide luck!! LOL He should be able to put you onto the fish. That is what he is paid to do and then it is up to you to hook em and land em. The guide should be able to recommend what lures to use as well as what bait if fishing with bait is legal there. Anyways good luck on your fishing trip..

How did you make out with the fishing? Was the guide any good and put onto a lot of bass? Ctach any monsters or have any on? We are waiting to hear how things went.. Did you see any of those alagators down there fishing? Did you even get a chance to get out fishing with that guide? Fill us in, we want to hear about all the successes or failures..

It didnt go well, but not because if the guide.

We woke up at 5:45 and were at the marina bu 6:20 to meet hte guide. He showed up promptly and was very nice and knowledgeable. As soon as we met though, it started to pour cats and dogs. We decided to give it a try anyways and see if the weather would let up, but the weather only got worse. We got to our first spot and it quickly became our last spot. Lightening and thunder all around so we headed back to the dock. We docked the boat, went and got some breakfast while the weather only got worse and worse. Watched the news for a bit and the weather was only getting worse, flood warning for surrounding areas had been issued so our day was a bust. I am working with the guide to reschedule, but it looks like it might be a little while before I get to go back. Maybe better luck next time.

the guide was very nice. He considered it a rain-out and we are working to reschedule so no money lost. I am looking for sometime in November most likely, but I am not sure if I want to wait that long, I am thinking the fall bite may be over by then.

Could you reschedule for the spring spawn { -;

for an extra $125 I can, but I have had some unexpected bills come up and I don't think the wife will let me swing an extra 125 right now, haha.
