Bad Luck Lizard

I went fishing last thursday in hopes of trying out some baits that Chuck7 sent my way a week or so ago, in particular a certain lizard in Red Shad. However, I first wanted to make sure I was in the fish before trying the lizard so I used a ZOOM Ol' Monster in redbug that i have been having decent success with. It took a little bit but I got on the fish and pulled in a 2.82 lb'r. I took the worm off the hook, and replaced it with a red shad lizard to give it a shot and see how it performed. First cast went into the trees. Second cast the lizard, hook, and weight go flying out into the middle of the lake. I get another hook and lizard out and tie on the hook. I didn't take the time to cut the tag end of the line with the pliers, but instead cut the line with my front teethe. I hear a pop and notice that half of my front toothe is completely missing. That pretty much ended my fishing trip for the day, and that lizard is getting the blame for everything, hahaha.

Joking aside, I was actually really looking forward to fishing the lizard, but it looks like it will have to wait until my next trip.

On another side note, that tooth was broken 3 years ago while playing catch with a huge bulldog. I never had the dentist put a cap on it because it was a clean break, and once it was back in place you couldn't even tell it had ever broken. Looks like I will be putting a cap on it this time, haha.

Now I feel guilty...sorry about the tooth partner..
however; you said you were going to wait till spawning season to fish Lizzy.
:poke:

i know, i know, i know...... i said i was going to wait, but I wanted to give it a try anyways :).

I had that pack lizards you gave me sitting next to a pack of zoom lizards, and they both have been staring at me with an evil eye. Figured I better wipe that smirk off their faces and let the bass thrash them around a little bit. Looks like that lizard wiped the smirk off of my face when it broke my tooth (in a round-a-bout way), hahaha.
