Just a nice day..

Just wanted to share a couple pics of a nice day we have had up here. I started out getting ready for a little mackeral fishing and took a pic of this little bluebird. This thing would hang upside down and everything else. I am not sure what kind of bird it is except neat to whatch him scury around in those little antics it likes to do. Then down mackeral fishing a young seal would chase our lines in when ever someone caught a small makeral. Then on the way back I stopped by Pocomoonshine Lake and snapped a pic of the sunset to share with you all. Here are the pics..

The little bluebird at a feeder..

The young seal, sorry i could only get a pic of him swimming down and away. He wouldn't hold stil long enough to get a better pic.

Last pic here of the sunset on lake Pocomoonshine. This was a calm evening and this lake holds both largemouth bass as well as smallmouths.

Thanks guys!

Yeah that little bird might be a Nuthatch though I am not sure. It has been hanging around most of the year now. It looks pretty neat running up and down the trees. It has a fairly long bill something like a woodpecker or something. Most of the time it is upside down hanging of stuff..

Red breasted nuthatch to be sure..sorry guys.I'm an old Audubon member..{ -; We don't have that species here..

Nice picks Phil
