Hey Aaron,
If I was still working, I'd fish every opportunity I could.However; having the entire summer off I fish the moon phases. It's been my expereince that the best fishing is the 4-5 days prior to the full moon and the 4-5 days prior of the new moon. Calanders show the very day of the new and full good but I did not find this true in my own fishing world.
Said all that to say I won't be fishing until the approach of the new moon.,July 7th through July 10th
Meanwhile my wife has some jobs for me to ..most involve painting.
According to The Bass professor ..summer time is the best time to fish..I can agree this year.
