And that is appreciated partner..I still remember your testimony from 5 years ago..Whenever I see your screen name I think about it [-:
and trout...they can't be beat..I'd rather catch a 12 inch trout that I can eat then a 6 pound bass I throw back..I LOVE TROUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Florida has no freshwater trout that I'm aware of.

Chuck...I'm not sure about FL trout either. Years ago, I was stationed at Orlando AFB (not McCoy) and fished big bass on the base. Never knew anyone who fished for trout.

My wife and I will be headed back to my condo on Sanibel Island soon and then focus on those redfish, snook, tarpon, etc....All completely different from NH fly fishing. Always great fun!!

I lived in northern Maryland and never even knew we had trout streams until i was 19 .I was raised by a tough step dad so we didn't get out much..
I lived fishing and hunting to escape the often contention..I hunted or fished about everyday..

I learned about our trout streams by reading various magazines..I loved it..our streams were beautiful and the taste of fresh trout are second to none..

Me fishing for trout while on leave from the Army.

thanks Aaron..note the reel is upside down..they never made the kind where you can switch the handles yet..and i could never reel a spinning reel left handed..the hat was made from beaver skin..

My father in law swears by beaver pelt hats, refuses to wear anything but beaver pelt hats and I can see why, they are simply great and there is almostt nothing better when it starts to rain. I do believe my wife would kill me if I came home with one, do you still wear yours?

Whole lot of fish tonight. Only got to fish from 7:30 until dark (9:15).

Landed 21 Largemouth (Largest around 4 lbs) and 1 nice Northern (6 lbs).

Lost one decent Largemouth and another smaller one.

Many fish bedded in 3 to 7 FOW.

Caught right around 6 bedded fish, other came from the depths of 12 foot emerging vegetation or in the shallows chasing food.

are you post, pre, or in the middle of spawn where you are at BH14?

buckhunter14 05-06-2010 03:13 AM

Just starting, smaller fish preppin' beds, big fish still out in the depths.
