mepps spinners for bass????
 

i got the piker kit last year for my canada trip. now i got 4 of the mepps spinners left. will bass hit these lures?? i might give them a try cause i don't know what else i'd use them for. unless i'd be just as well off fishing with a bare hook.

jjoel, one of the best days I had bass fishing was with one of the old Mepps Aglia Spinners. I think it had a tuft of squirrel tail around the treble hook.

jjoel, not only will pike hit these, but bass, walleyes and even an occasional crappie.

Spinners work well. One of my favorite small mouth lures is one of those mepps spinners that has what looks like a rubber minnow attached to it- absolutely kills smallmouths.
